Terms of Service

1. Service Description

ON THE SPOT CURTAIN CLEANING SPECIALISTS AND SERVICES provides professional on-site curtain, blind, upholstery, mattress, carpet, and rug cleaning services. All services are performed at the client's premises unless otherwise agreed in writing. We also provide fabric protection (Master Guarding) and fire retardant treatment services.

2. Booking & Cancellations

Bookings can be made by phone, WhatsApp, email, or through our website. We require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee of R250.

We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., severe weather, equipment failure). In such cases, we will provide as much notice as possible and offer an alternative appointment time.

3. Pricing & Payment

All quotes provided are valid for 14 days. Final pricing is determined after on-site assessment and may vary from initial estimates based on actual fabric type, condition, and size. Payment is due on completion of service unless prior credit terms have been agreed.

We accept cash, EFT/bank transfer, and credit/debit cards. A detailed invoice is provided for every job. For commercial clients, payment terms of 30 days may be arranged with prior approval.

4. Satisfaction Guarantee

We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with our service, contact us within 48 hours of completion. We will re-clean the affected areas at no additional cost. This guarantee does not cover pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or issues caused by improper fabric care after our service.

5. No-Shrinkage Guarantee

We guarantee zero shrinkage on all curtain and drape cleaning jobs. In the unlikely event of shrinkage, we will rectify the issue at no cost. This guarantee applies to fabrics that have not been previously damaged, improperly cleaned, or exposed to conditions that would predispose them to shrinkage. Vintage or antique fabrics are assessed individually.

6. Liability

We carry full liability insurance for our operations. Our liability is limited to the cost of the specific service provided. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, structural issues, or problems arising from faulty installation of curtains, tracks, or hardware. Clients must disclose any known issues or sensitivities before service commencement.

7. Fire Compliance Certificates

Fire retardant treatment certificates are valid for 12 months from date of issue. Renewal is the client's responsibility, though we send automatic reminders. Certificates are issued based on standard testing and are accepted by most insurers and municipal authorities. We are not liable for changes in regulations or insurer requirements after certificate issuance.
